About the Book

The book is a collection of papers on disability written by the author over last two and half decades, alongside his association with many national and international organizations working in the area of disability and community-based rehabilitation (CBR) projects.
CBR aims at rehabilitation of people with disability and enabling them to actively participate in local communities and access resources made available to them. The book discusses CBR as a strategy for the holistic rehabilitation of people with disability. About the Author / Editor

Ajit K Dalal is former Professor of Psychology from Allahabad University. He has published books on health and healing, indigenous psychology and perceived causality. Himself being on a wheelchair for last four decades and widely travelled, the author is personally associated with disability issues in India.
