About the Book
Today Internet has become as much a medium of interaction with others as it is about accessing information. Internet has metamorphosed from an ‘information network’ to ‘social network’.
This book analyses the phenomenon of how places are constituted through network movement and how cultures have been made and remade as a consequence of the flow of people, objects and images. It does so by providing an illuminating account of social networking sites and their effects on Indian society.
